Emma is an undergraduate student majoring in Biomedical Engineering and minoring in Chemistry at the University of Utah.

She is pursuing a focus in biomaterials and pharmaceutics with special interests in drug delivery and immunoengineering. 

Emma is working in the Mei lab to gain experience with lipid nanoparticle synthesis and analysis to develop a comprehensive understanding of targeted drug delivery techniques. Motivated by interest in individualized drug therapy, she intends to continue her research with post-graduate education. 

Outside of the lab, Emma enjoys yoga, skiing, and frequenting her favorite coffee shops with friends!
