Ladd is an undergraduate student at the University of Utah pursuing a degree in Biomedical Engineering, with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2027. His academic interests center on nanoparticle-based agents, drug delivery systems, and biomechanics. In Dr. Mei’s laboratory, he is gaining rigorous wet-lab research training with a specific emphasis on the design and engineering of advanced drug delivery technologies. Outside of the laboratory, Ladd enjoys climbing, skiing, and a range of outdoor activities.
