Mackenzie

I am an undergraduate student pursuing a degree in biomedical engineering with a minor in chemistry. I am especially interested in the biomaterials and pharmaceutical side of BME, and look forward to learning more about drug delivery and overall development in the future. 

In the Mei lab, I hope to gain hands-on experience with the synthesis of lipid nanoparticles and the analysis of their efficiency in delivering mRNA therapeutics throughout the body. I hope to take this experience and use it later in either a graduate school setting or in industry. 

Outside of the lab and school, I like to hike, bake, and read.
