Max is an undergraduate student in Biomedical Engineering at the University of Utah, with an anticipated graduation in Spring 2028. Originally from Jackson, Wyoming, Max is motivated by a strong interest in targeted drug delivery and its potential to reduce systemic toxicity and improve patient outcomes.

He joined the Mei Lab to gain hands-on experience in translational biomedical research and to understand how emerging delivery technologies interface with clinical practice—an essential foundation for his long-term goal of becoming a physician.

Outside the lab, Max is an avid climber and skier who enjoys spending time in the mountains whenever possible.
